Can You Teach Leadership Decision Making?

Can we build better decision making skills at scale using computer-based simulations? What are some of the biases and challenges facing managers who want to make the best decisions? What’s the proper role of intuition/hunches versus deliberation/analysis for managerial decision making? How do you build resilience when any decision is likely to make at least some people irate?!

Last week, Brett Whysel CEO of Decision Fish interviewed Ken Spero, CEO of Ed Leadership SIMs. To ask him these and related questions in a wide-ranging interview of interest to managers, educators, training and development professionals and anyone who makes decisions!

The interview took place on August 8, 2017 at the NYU StartEd Incubator and included members of the Behavioral Economics-NYC meetup. It is 30 minutes long, followed by 20 minutes of Q&A. We recommend headphones as the audio is a little faint. Enjoy!

August 16 update: Now with much better audio, thanks to our friend Umut at Smart Professions.
